Want to give this recipe a try? Here is the step-by-step German Potato Dumplings recipe shared by our lovely sister, Hannah!
What You Need:
Panni Bavarian Potato Dumpling Mix (in a yellow box with blue print)
Milk or water (we use milk)
Preparation:
In a medium bowl combine the mix/package with 2 cups of milk (or water). Mix until there are no lumps. Let mixture stand for 10 minutes to soften.
Using your hands, create/roll mixture into balls. You want them about 2 inches or you can make them smaller or bigger. It's up to you. (You can put a crouton in the middle if you want, we don't, and have also found it a little harder to make because it doesn't stick together as well.
Steps:
Pour 6 quarts of water into a pot (or use chicken broth, however, for Rouladen, I wouldn't, simply because we are making steak, not chicken) and bring to a boil. Drop the balls into the pot and cook for 20 minutes. Reduced the heat to medium to simmer.
