Homemade Mac & Cheese

The crave you will never subside, the authentic homemade mac and cheese!

Want to give this recipe a try? Here is the step-by-step mac and cheese recipe shared by our lovely sister, Erika!

What You Need:
  • 1/2 pound elbow macaroni pasta

  • 4 ounce extra sharp white cheese (block)

  • 3/4 pound coopers cheese

  • 1/2 stick butter

  • 3/4 tablespoons flour

  • 2 1/2 cups milk

  • salt and pepper (flavor)

Steps:
  1. Preheat oven to 350℉.

  2. Prepare the elbow macaroni according to package directions.

  3. Add extra sharp cheese, coopers cheese, butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper to a sauce pan. Cook over low heat until cheese is melted.

  4. Place drained macaroni in roaster pan casserole.

  5. Add cheese sauce on top, mix and let set.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes, longer for a crunchier top.
