Penne Alla Vodka

This simple and easy pasta recipe is easy to chef it up on days when you're not in the mood to cook but you are most definitely hangry!

Want to give this recipe a try? Here is the step-by-step penne alla vodka recipe shared by our lovely sister, Kamryn!

What You Need:
  • 2 tablespoon butter

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 1 can (28 ounce) crushed tomatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • 1/4 cup vodka

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 box penne pasta

  • parmesan cheese for topping

Steps:
  1. Melt butter and garlic in a pan over medium heat until garlic is fragrant.

  2. Add a can of crushed tomatoes and crushed red peppers, let simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Add vodka and heavy cream and let simmer for 10 minutes. While the sauce is simmering, begin boiling the penne.

  4. Once the pasta is cooked and strained, add to the pan with the sauce and mix in.

  5. Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
